State Rep. Aric Nesbitt intends to seek third term in 2014

State Rep. Aric Nesbitt said Monday he intends seek a third House term in 2014, but stressed next year’s elections are far from his mind.

“I’ll decide next spring, but as of now, I’m looking at it like if I feel I can continue to serve the people of southwest Michigan, I’m going to continue to do that,” Nesbitt, R-Lawton, said while being interviewed for the WMUK-FM (102.1) show, WestSouthwest.

Nesbitt represents the 66th District, which includes all of Van Buren County and the city of Parchment and Alamo and Cooper townships in Kalamazoo County.
